Shovel Knight<\/em>, Yacht Club Games’ rad-looking throwback to 8-bit action platformers of the 80s, is at long last entering the final stages of development after achieving tremendous Kickstarter support<\/a> last spring. <\/p>\n

Alongside an epic trailer, Yacht Club has set a ship date for its love letter to fans of retro gaming. The legendary tale of the Shovel Knight will be told March 31st on PC\/Mac\/Linux, Steam, and the Nintendo eShop for 3DS and Wii U. <\/p>\n

The DRM-free desktop versions can be pre-ordered now at the game’s website<\/a>, via the Humble Store, in a standard edition for $15 or a deluxe version with digital manual and soundtrack for $25.
