It seems that Gamecock’s<\/a> and Spark Unlimited’s<\/a> upcoming FPS has had a bit of a title trim. Originally titled Legendary: The Box<\/em>, it appears the mythical shooter is now simply carrying the title of Legendary<\/em>, dropping off the “The Box” subtitle altogether. Not sure if that’s officially the case, but it sure seems like it going by a press release I received today confirming the game for a summer release on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 in which it’s only ever referred to as Legendary<\/em>. For example:<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m happy to report that the team on Legendary is well on target for a simultaneous multi-platform launch this summer,\u201d said Rick Stults, Console Chief for Gamecock Media Group. \u201cIt\u2019s no easy feat to pull this off on a game of this caliber, but Spark Unlimited is a talented group.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThis is the project we want to be working on and it\u2019s shaping up to be something amazing,\u201d said Craig Allen, CEO of Spark Unlimited. \u201cLegendary is the type of game we want every gamer, regardless of system allegiance, to get the chance to play.
