The Last Tinker: City of Colors<\/em> steals the show for sure with its glorious visuals and de Blob<\/em> meets Jak & Daxter<\/em> vibe. It has been confirmed for a summer launch on Steam and undisclosed console platforms, published by Unity Games and developed by Mimimi Productions.<\/p>\n

PixelPickle and Surprise Attack’s newly announced title Burden<\/em> stands out as well. Yes, it’s another tower defense game, but in this one the levels take place on the backs of different mechanical colossi as they journey across an ancient land to save a civilization on the verge of extinction. A Steam Early Access release is expected within the next couple of months.<\/p>\n

Other new indies revealed this week include Petroglyph’s next RTS Grey Goo<\/em>, a 2D runner-platformer from Slak Games called Mechanic Escape<\/em>, N-Fusion’s intergalactic dogfighter Space Noir<\/em>, Greek rogue-like Depths of Fear: Knossos<\/em> by Dirigo Games, and more.<\/p>\n
