That “GRID<\/em> is a racing game which is actually about racing,” quoting interviewee Chief Game Designer Ralph Fulton. You know, I never would’ve guessed that, so I’m glad he pointed it out!<\/p>\n

But all kidding (and obvious statements) aside, Fulton shares some interesting details regarding the car selection process, the damage modeling system, some of the enhancements to the EGO engine powering the game, and the racing AI. There’s plenty of gorgeous gameplay footage to see as well. Definitely worth a look.<\/p>\n
