With Wii Fit<\/em>‘s<\/a> May 19th US release closing in on only a month away, Nintendo has today announced the final pricing for its interactive fitness “game,” and unfortunately it won’t be cheap. To join in on the Wii Fit<\/em> craze, it’ll cost you a steep $90 to get the software and balance board bundle. Yikes! I knew it’d cost more than the standard Wii game price, but damn, I didn’t think it’d be THAT much more. I was hoping for more around $70 or so, in the same ballpark as the Eye of Judgment<\/em>\/PlayStation Eye bundle for the PS3 and most dance pad bundles. Sorry, there’s just no way I’d get this for that high a price until there are actually other games that put the balance board to use. That’s just me, though. Millions of you will probably be picking it up no matter what.<\/p>\n

If you are indeed dead set on buying it day one and live in the NY area, you’ll want to head over to the Nintendo World Store between April 18-20 and put down a $5 pre-order deposit.
