Remember Pitfall: The Lost Expedition<\/em>, that 3D update to the classic Pitfall<\/em> franchise Activision and Edge of Reality put out last generation (like four years ago now)? It was a pretty generic platformer, but you know what, I actually thought it was quite the enjoyable little romp nonetheless. Well good news (if you were a fan of that game), Activision and Edge of Reality are teaming up again to bring Pitfall Harry back for another 3D adventure, and it’s coming exclusively to Wii this fall. Pitfall: The Big Adventure<\/em> is the name of the franchise’s debut Wii effort, and it’ll have you jumping and swinging through 60+ levels set in the lush Peruvian jungle using obligatory “innovative, accessible game mechanics developed specifically to take advantage of the Wii motion sensing controls.” As you can see in the screenshots uploaded after the break, The Big Adventure<\/em> looks pretty much identical in style to The Lost Expedition<\/em>.<\/p>\n
