Harmonix, MTV Games and Electronic Arts have rolled out the full slate of features and songs set to be featured in Rock Band 2<\/em>. Both the features list and soundtrack are fairly lengthy so I’ll let you browse them at your leisure over after the break, but let me give you a quick recap of the headlines. Rock Band 2<\/em> will feature both local and global online multiplayer band competition, an expanded World Tour mode, backwards compatibility with all songs downloaded for the first Rock Band<\/em> and the ability to export many of the tracks on the original game’s disc, over 80 new on-disc songs (all the original master tracks) and an additional 20 songs coming as free DLC at launch. RB2<\/em> will also be the first video game to feature music from AC\/DC and Bob Dylan!<\/p>\n

As previously announced, Rock Band 2<\/em> will make it’s debut in September exclusively on Xbox 360. PS3, PS2 and Wii versions will then follow later in the fall.<\/p>\n

* Drum Trainer mode gives players the fundamentals of different beats and fills, translating gameplay into real drumming skills<\/p>\n

* Backwards compatibility with all Rock Band downloadable music content released to date<\/p>\n
