Two major announcements have come down from Sony today concerning Resistance 2<\/em><\/a>. First off, Insomniac Games’ sequel to PS3 launch title Resistance: Fall of Man<\/em> has an official US launch date, and that date is November 4th. Secondly, it’ll also be released in a Collector’s Edition box set containing a number of sweet bonus goodies for $79.99. More specifically, the Collector’s Edition will include a copy of Resistance 2<\/em> sporting special edition cover art, a Chimeran Hybrid action figure with Bullseye weapon crafted by DC Unlimited, a double-sided, hard-cover art book, an exclusive in-game HVAP Wraith multiplayer weapon skin, and a bonus DVD with a behind-the-scenes video, a chronology video recapping the Resistance<\/em> storyline, a sneak peek at the “Resistance: The Gathering Storm” novel, and a digital copy of Issue #0 of Wildstorm’s Resistance<\/em> comic book series.<\/p>\n
