Are you tired of paying $10-20 more for Limited Edition game packs that really don’t offer much for the added price? Ubisoft feels your pain and is doing something about it. For the upcoming release of the new Prince of Persia<\/em><\/a>, all gamers who pre-order will receive a free Limited Edition upgrade. That’s right, free! While that low, low upgrade price of free doesn’t get you any action figure, statue or other extravagant bonus item, the bonuses it does come with are nothing to shake a stick at. By pre-ordering you can secure yourself a PS3 or Xbox 360 copy of the game with Limited Edition packaging (pictured above), an exclusive “making of” look at the game, a digital mini-strategy guide from Prima, a digital art book, the official soundtrack, and supposedly “much more” than even that. That’s a sweet deal. I’ll probably pre-order to get the soundtrack alone.<\/p>\n

In other Prince of Persia<\/em> news, Ubisoft has commissioned Penny Arcade to create a 32-page comic book presenting the game’s “fresh new artistic style” in a “robust, illustrative format” that delves deeper into the relationship between Elika and the Prince.
