<\/a>The picture on the right (click to enlarge) was posted on the Cheap Ass Gamer forums<\/a> this morning by one of their moderators. This is a scan of a Crackdown<\/i> ad from the latest issue of Gamepro. If you look in the lower-right corner you can clearly see the ad boasting about the game including an invitation to the Halo 3<\/i> multiplayer beta. WTF???<\/p>\n

From the screenshots and videos I’ve seen of this upcoming Xbox 360 title, Crackdown<\/i> looks pretty nice. Of course, I’ll probably rent it as I’ve been getting leery of sinking $60 into games in my old age, but still, if the retail version comes with automatic acceptance into the Halo 3<\/i> beta, I may just have to spend the money and hope for the best. Hopefully Microsoft isn’t throwing the beta invites in there to placate Crackdown<\/i> being a load of crap and are including it simply to boost sales of a good title.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
