This year marks the 10th anniversary of 2K Sports’ vaunted NBA 2K<\/em> basketball simulation franchise, and in honor of this grand milestone 2K will be offering a special “Anniversary Edition” of NBA 2K10<\/em> on PS3 and Xbox 360 when the game releases this fall (the game will also be available for PC, PS2, PSP and Wii in standard edition form).<\/p>\n

As you can see pictured, the NBA 2K10: Anniversary Edition<\/em> will come with some cool Kobe Bryant goodies, including a 16\u201d x 36\u201d poster and a 3\u201d figurine crafted by McFarlane Toys, along with a commemorative anniversary DVD, access to the game’s VIP online lobby called the Gold Room, and a sweet storage locker (with combination lock) containing shelf space for 20 game boxes. 10 of the bundles will also randomly include an autographed Kobe Bryant fine-art print tucked inside the locker.<\/p>\n

2K’s press release doesn’t mention a price, but GameStop<\/a> is accepting pre-orders with a price point of $99.99. That is definitely pricey, but as far as special edition packages go this is one of the best I’ve seen.
