Infinity Ward has unveiled an absurd Prestige Edition box set for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2<\/em> — yes, the game has been officially rebranded with the Call of Duty<\/em> franchise tag by Activision. The Prestige Edition will come with everything you can see pictured above, which includes a functional pair of night vision goggles, a sculpted “Soap” McTavish head to display the goggles on when not in use, and a copy of the Hardened Edition of the game containing an art book, steelbook collector’s case, and a token to download the original Call of Duty<\/em> for free. Yep, the first Call of Duty<\/em> is coming to PSN and XBLA!<\/p>\n

Now to the question I’m sure many of you are asking — how much will this Prestige Edition cost? Unfortunately, pricing details haven’t been given yet. But seeing that the Hardened Edition is priced at $79.99, you can expect the Prestige Edition to push the $100+ mark. How much would you pay for some cheapy NVGs and a McTavish head sculpture?<\/p>\n
