Apparently, March 22nd has been designated the “Day of the HD Trilogy Remake.” Square Enix has already confirmed that date for the release of the Tomb Raider Trilogy<\/em><\/a>, and now Ubisoft has announced that two PS3 trilogy bundles of its own will ship the same day.<\/p>\n

Tom Clancy\u2019s Splinter Cell Classic Trilogy HD<\/em> will come with the original Splinter Cell<\/em>, Pandora Tomorrow<\/em> and Chaos Theory<\/em> on a single Blu-ray disc, and likewise the Prince of Persia Classic Trilogy HD<\/em> will pull together the HD remakes of The Sands of Time<\/em>, Warrior Within<\/em> and The Two Thrones<\/em> that have already been digitally released through PSN at $15 a pop. <\/p>\n

All six games have been remastered in HD and stereoscopic 3D, and both trilogy bundles will retail for $40. Some type of “digital bundle” will also be released on PSN, but specifics haven’t been provided for that yet.<\/p>\n
