Xbox 360 Gets One-Week Exclusive Resident Evil 5 Demo

On Monday, January 26th, Capcom will release a playable demo for Resident Evil 5. The catch is it’ll only be available on Xbox 360 for that whole week, presumably meaning the PS3 demo will come out the following Thursday (that’s just my guess, Capcom makes no mention of such a plan in today’s press release).

The demo will span two early stages from the game — Assembly Place and Shanty Town — and feature three levels of co-op play — both split-screen and online — solo play with AI support, and two control options: classic “Resident Evil”-style (like RE4 I suppose) and “Action” controls which are said to draw influence from Gears of War 2 and Halo 3.
