XSEED Keeps PSP Gaming Alive and Kicking With Nihon Falcom Dungeon Crawler Brandish

Nihon Falcom’s 2009 PSP remake of action RPG Brandish, which first released in North America back on the SNES, will make its Western debut next week on January 13th as a digital download from the PlayStation Store, thanks to the localization efforts of XSEED Games. It’ll set you back $19.99.

Brandish: The Dark Revenant is in fact a PSP game (the PSP ain’t dead yet, bro!), but it will be compatible with PlayStation Vita and I would imagine that’s the platform its niche audience will likely play it on.

Death is just around the corner. Prepare for your impending demise by watching the launch trailer below and visiting www.brandishpsp.com to learn more about the game’s story, characters, world, and gameplay mechanics. Between Brandish and Kemco’s Alphadia Genesis next week’s going to be huge for fans of old school Japanese RPGs.
