Yep, NBA 2K9 is Coming Out on PC

NBA2K9-PC.jpg For anyone who didn’t notice it in yesterday’s soundtrack reveal, NBA 2K9, which hits retail today for PS2, PS3 and Xbox 360, will also be coming to Windows PC. Just to make sure everyone was clear on that, 2K Sports issued confirmation again today that, yes, NBA 2K9 will finally bring the top-rated basketball sim franchise to the PC platform for the first time when it ships in just a couple weeks on October 21st.

“We are excited about the growing popularity of basketball and are eager to get NBA 2K9 in the hands of PC fans,” said Greg Thomas, senior vice president of sports development at 2K. “The PC version will please even the most dedicated basketball fans with the same level of quality simulation we’ve become known for in the console versions of the NBA 2K franchise.”
