You Can Now Dress Up Like Abraham Lincoln and Shoot Plungers in Saints Row IV

While playing Saints Row IV, have you ever found yourself daydreaming about how awesome it would be to stomp around Steelport as a super-powered, dildo bat-wielding Barack Obama or George W. Bush? If so, your dream is now a reality!

Available today on Steam and PSN, and tomorrow on Xbox Live, Saints Row IV‘s first post-launch downloadable content has arrived in the form of the Presidential Pack and the Grass Roots Pack.

The Presidential Pack includes masks, wigs, and costumes to dress your Boss up in the guise of four real-world United States Presidents of past and present, including George Washington and Abraham Lincoln as well as the aforementioned duo of Bush and Barack. Also included are purple presidential suits in male and female options along with a historical outfit to make female characters look like a girl from Little House on the Prairie.

Lowering the immaturity bar even further, the Grass Roots Pack is a redneck’s dream, featuring male and female country bumpkin outfits and an accompanying arsenal of seemingly handmade weapons, including a double-barreled shotgun, an assault rifle, and the almighty Plunger Launcher, because nothing says Saints Row like a gun that shoots enemies in the face with dirty plungers and releases a stinky fart cloud. A Beverly Hillbillies style truck, with a pink flamingo riding in the back, is even included to complete the set.

Disappointingly, this DLC is not included as part of the Season Pass. They’ll each cost you an additional $2.99, which is sort of a crap move on Deep Silver’s part. But this is DLC we’re talking about, so is anyone really surprised?
