Ys Seven Goes Gold

Vintage action-RPG fun is only a couple weeks away, as the PSP exclusive Ys Seven has gone gold and will be releasing this summer after all. The latest installment in Nihon Falcom’s classic RPG franchise and the first to be developed in full 3D specifically for the PSP, launches simultaneously on UMD and PSN in North America on August 17th for $30. A sweet premium edition, seen here, will also be available for $50 including a soundtrack CD, art book and cloth map.

The game’s official website has been launched at long last as well. Hit up www.worldofys.com for more information. Also check out these new screenshots.
